The fifth orbit raising activity for Indian's moon spacecraft Chandrayaan-2 was performed successfully at 3.27pm on Friday,the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) said. ISRO said the orbit of the orbit Chandrayaan-2 was raised to 277 x 89,472 km by firing the onboard motors for 646 seconds.The manoeuvre was carried out at 3.27pm IST using the onboard propulsion system for a firing duration of 1041 seconds (-17 minutes), 4 days after the 4th orbit-raising was completed. ISRO also informed that the next maneuver is Trans Lunar Insertion (TLI), which is scheduled on August 14 between 3am and 4am (IST). A Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) Mark III, carrying the Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft, had lifted off at 2.43 pm on July 22 from the Staish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
