'Can I get him to call you back?: Tim Paine's hailarious mid-presser phone call

 

Tim Paine may have just completed one of the toughest days of his cricket career, but his senst of humour wasn't lost.

Midway through his post-day two press conference in the SCG media room, a journailst's phone rang while sitting on the desk in front of Paine.

The Aussie skipper answered the call and was polite enough to take a message.

''Tim Paine speaking.........who is it sorry? Who are you after?'' Paine asked.

''Martin? He in the middle of a press conference, can I get him to call you back?

The journalists in the room could see the funny side, sharing a laugh with Paine.

It was a lighthearted way to end a tough day for the captain, who had spent two and a half session crouched behind the stumps watching his bowlers being pummelled by the Indian batsmen.
