Pakistan must take action against terrorists, refrain form retaliatory, says US
Washington DC [USA] ,Aug 8(ANI): In the wake of India's decision to strip special status of Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan must refrain from any retaliatory aggression, including support for infiltrations across the Line of Control (LoC) and take demonstrable action against terror infrastucture on its soil, said a joint statement by the House Foreign Affairs Foreign Relations Committee and Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Wednesday.
After downgrading diplomatic ties with India, Pakistan partially closes airspace. Pakistan on Wednesday partially closed its airspace hours after downgrading its diplomatic relations with India in the wake of New Delhi's decision to abrogate Article 370 that granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir and make it a Union Territory the Narendra Modi government has made it clear that it is an internal matter and the decision has been taken keeping its interest in mind.
''At the some time Pakistan must refrain from any retaliatory aggression-including support for infiltrations across the Line of Control-and take demonstrable action against the terrorist infrastructure on Pakistan's soil". The Centre also passed the Jammu and Kashmir (Reorganisation)
Bill 2019 which bifurcated the state into two Union Territories -Jammu and Kashmir (with a legislature) and Ladakh (without legislature).
