BHIWANDI: Around twelve godowns containing paper cutlery gift items were gutted in a Bhiwandi on Sunday. The fire took place in the first floor-based godown in krishna complex situated in Gondavali gram panchayat area in Bhiwandi. Accroding to the fire officials, the fire started at around 1.30 pm and  later it spread to other godowns. Around 100 staff working inside the godowns managed to escape.    The team of fire brigade was still involved in controlling the fire. The godowns were given on rent to people involved in the business of packing gift items. Fire officials said that exact reason behind fire is yet to be ascertained.
